    The round cobblestone smokehouse was on the West side of Gaines Basin Road, NORTH of W. Bacon Rd on David Bullard's property. It stood behind the house, was about 8 feet in diameter, and was medium fieldstone laid in rows with flat joints. It had a high peaked roof (about 45 degree angle) and roof boards were vertical.     B and D Bullard are two sons of David Bullard (1759-1831) who settled here from Dedham, Mass. B is Brigadier (1800-1883) and D. is David (1804-1886). Bill Lattin owns the Brigadier Bullard cobblestone House.
